Former Texas quarterback James Street, who died Monday in Austin, had quite a day against Tennessee in the 1969 Cotton Bowl.
Running the Wishbone to perfection, Street completed a mere 7 of 13 passes, but for an astounding 200 yards, including touchdown passes for 78 and 79 yards in a 36-13 Longhorn victory.
The Longhorns racked up 513 yards total offense, 279 yards rushing and 234 passing.
Street, born Aug. 2, 1948, was 65.
He was 20-0 as a starter.
