Battle for Arrowmont: Show me the money!

Now that Knoxville is out of the running as a relocation site, the battle for Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts is down to old money vs. new.

Will Sevier County’s “old money” families ride to the rescue and keep the nationally-known school in Gatlinburg or will businessman/philanthropist Scott Niswonger sweep in and take the school to Greeneville, Tenn.?

Both suitors have plenty of money to offer the school. Both are used to success. It could get very interesting.

A decision is exepected in August.
