Scripps Networks Interactive Inc. apparently is considering another international expansion.
Published reports in the United Kingdom indicate Scripps Networks, which announced recently it will move its corporate headquarters to Knoxville, is one of two U.S. companies interested in buying Virgin Media’s stake in UKTV, a pay-TV business.

For the time being, AT&T U-verse cable TV subscribers will have to live without cooking celebrity Rachael Ray and rapper turned home remodeler Vanilla Ice.
AT&T U-verse customers no longer have access to HGTV, DIY Network, Food Network and other popular Scripps Networks cable television programming, after the companies couldn’t reach a deal.
Both companies issued statements on Friday blaming the other for the failed negotiations. The contract between Knoxville-based Scripps and AT&T ended early this morning.
