Verizon Wireless and Comcast — two of the largest communications companies in the country — announced they will jontly market each other’s services to Knoxville area consumers.
Effective immediately, Knoxville consumers can visit one retail outlet to select video, phone, Internet and wireless services offered by Comcast and Verizon, the companies said.
New and existing customers may qualify for incentives, depending on services selected, the companies said.
“We’re partnering to provide more value and choice and money saving incentives,” said Russell E. Byrd, senior director of government and public affairs with Comcast.
New and existing customers may qualify for Incentives such as prepaid Visa cards valued up to $300, a complementary 12-month subscription to Comcast’s Xfinity Streampix and Comcast HD DVR at no additional cost for six months.
The joint marketing agreement is part of a national collaboration by two of the largest communications companies in the country.
Consumers can order Verizon and Comcast services at three Knoxville area retail locations — North Knoxville, 2430 Callahan Drive, Turkey Creek, 11511 Parkside Drive; and Sevierville, 739 Dolly Parton Parkway.
Consumers can also call 1-8555-704-7400 to order the companies’ services.
