Sword & Shield named to Solution Provider 500

Network security services provider Sword & Shield Enterprise Security Inc. has been named to the 2012 Solution Provider 500, the sixth straight year the Knoxville company has been ranked among the largest technology integrators in North America.

Sword & Shield ranked No. 132 based on revenues of $142.6 million in 2011, up from $139.1 million in 2010, the company said in a news release.

Sword & Shield moved up one spot from No. 133 on last year’s rankings.

The list ranks the largest value-added resellers, solution providers and integrators based on revenues from hardware and software sales and managed IT services.


Sword & Shield provides network security, testing, security risk assessments, compliance gap analysis, remediation plans, audit forensic investigations, and other services.

Its customers represent a wide rangte of industries including, banking, retail, manufacturing, healthcare and hospitality.

The 2012 rankings were announced at the the Solution Provider 500 Conference that wrapped up today in Charlotte, N.C.

The rankings are compiled by UBM Channel, a provider of events, media, research, consulting, and sales and marketing services for the IT industry.
