Fed up with local politics? Think you can do a better job running a city? Here’s your chance to prove it — Buford, Wyo., the smallest town in the country, goes on the auction block this week and you can buy it.
That’s right, the once thriving railroad boom town is for sale. The whole thing. Bidding starts at $100,000.
The winner bidder gets 10-acres and five buildings next to a stretch of Interstate 80 between Laramie and Cheyenne. Otherwise known as the middle of nowhere.
Bufiord’s current owner and only resident, Don Sammons, wants to retire. Make your dreams come true. The auction is April 5 at noon.
