Alexander Collects $1 Million for Reelection Campaign

News release from Sen. Lamar Alexander’s reelection campaign:
NASHVILLE, TN – Senator Lamar Alexander’s re-election campaign today announced that the campaign raised more than $1 million in the first quarter.
“As senator and governor, Lamar Alexander has been standing up for Tennessee and we are ready to stand up for him. We raised more than $1 million in only 10 weeks and we are on pace to double that amount in the next quarter,” said Alexander for Senate Finance Chairman Steve Smith.
In April and May the campaign will hold four major Tennessee fundraising events. The first will take place at the home of Senator Corker in Chattanooga. Also in April the campaign will hold the “Salute to Ted Welch,” the former Republican National Finance Committee chairman who serves as Alexander’s Honorary Finance Chairman. Other events will take place during May in Knoxville and Memphis.


The Finance Leadership Team is headed by State Chair Steve Smith and honorary finance chairs Ted Welch and Jim Haslam, and also includes Co-Chairs: Andy Adams, Darrell Akins, Jeb Beasley, Denny Bottorff, Randy Boyd, Lew Connor, Joe Davenport, Edward Dobbs, James Gregory, John Gregory, Jimmy Haslam, Spencer Hays, Pitt Hyde, Orrin Ingram, Joey Jacobs, Bryan Jordan, David Kustoff, Monty Lankford, Jerry Mansfield, Henry Morgan, Billy Orgel, Bill Rhodes, Gary Shorb, Susan Simons, Fred Smith, Steve West and Susan Williams.
The Alexander campaign is chaired by Congressman Jimmy Duncan with co-chairmen Governor Bill Haslam, U.S. Senator Bob Corker, Lt. Gov. Ron Ramsey, Speaker Beth Harwell as well as Congressmen Blackburn, Roe, Black, Fincher and Fleischmann.
The campaign’s Honorary Co-Chairmen include former U.S. Senators Howard Baker, Bill Brock, Bill Frist and Fred Thompson as well as former Governors Winfield Dunn and Don Sundquist.
Serving as Honorary Co-Chairs of the Statewide Committee to Elect Lamar Alexander are all 13 living former state Republican Party chairs.

    I would not vote for Lamar Alexander to save my life. He is a pawn, through and through. He will not stand up for your rights. He has personal dinners with Obama and is fully on board with the gun grab agenda. NOT IN MY STATE.
