Santorum Schedules Nashville Fundraiser

Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum will visit Nashville for a fund raiser Wednesday, six days before Tennessee’s Republican primary, according to Chas Sisk.
Invitations were sent out Friday night for an event at the Oak Hill home of Kelley and Lee Beaman, the Beaman Automotive CEO who previously hosted a fund raiser for former GOP candidate Rick Perry.
In one of two emailed invitations I’ve seen, the Beamans wrote that Santorum, a former U.S. senator from Pennsylvania, has emerged as a “true conservative candidate” who can beat President Barack Obama in November.
“History shows that we win when we run the most conservative candidate – not the most moderate. I sincerely believe Rick Santorum is that candidate.
“I maxed out first to Rick Santorum, but was one of the many who said, “I really like him, but he can’t win.” With the latest national polls showing Santorum’s lead increasing, I’m happy to say I was wrong. I know its extremely short notice, but please join us.”

Note: Over in Knoxville, there were weekend rallies scheduled for Santorum, reports Georgiana Vines.
