KNOXVILLE, Tennessee — We’ve been #PracticeGramming each session this spring. We’ll be in the press box on Saturday for the Orange & White game, the 15th and final spring practice, so we thought it was a good time to compile all the best Instagram photos of the spring.
If you’re on Instagram, you can follow me here and see the photos instantly.
The best shots tend to be receivers catching passes, and the one above is a good example. Tight end Justin King grabbed a pass with one hand, bobbled it briefly and then held on tightly as he got his feet in bounds (above).
Receivers coach Zach Azzanni (right) wields a soft mallet to make it more difficult for players like tight end Charles Folger (left) to catch passes out of the JUGS machine.
Whether it’s a cool toy or a “teaching tool,” as Butch Jones says, UT’s new camera drone has attracted plenty of attention as it hovers over the practice field.
Running back Alden Hill makes a sharp cut during a drill.
Not 100 percent sure who the defensive back above is, but he makes a nice grab during this drill.
Alden Hill goes headfirst into the end zone during last week’s scrimmage.
Cody Blanc wasn’t able to track down this pass.

Croom thoughtfully considers a question during an interview session.
This pass zips above Cody Blanc’s hands.
LaDarrell McNeil almost comes down with an interception, although it appears he probably would have landed out of bounds anyway.
