Florida game would have been big win, but it doesn’t have to be huge loss

KNOXVILLE, Tennessee — Based on my Twitter feed and a quick scan of the message boards, many fans weren’t thrilled with the ending to Saturday night’s game.

But after a few days of contemplation, most fans seem to have been talked down from the ledge.

A victory against Florida would have been a huge for the Tennessee football program and for head coach Derek Dooley. But a loss in the SEC opener is hardly devastating.
