Safety Forum on Wednesday

A Community Safety Forum will be held Wednesday morning at the American Museum of Science and Energy, beginning at 8 a.m.

The two-hour forum is sponsored by the Oak Ridge Business Safety Partnership, a coalition of government agencies, contractors, labor unions and other parties in the community.

The theme of Wednesday’s event is “Safety Culture: It’s a Community Thing.”

The agenda will include highlights from the annual Safety Fest TN, the largest safety event in the region over the past five years.

The Community Safety Forum is open to the public. There is no charge. For more information, contact Jenny Freeman at jfreeman@stratag.org.

About Frank Munger

Senior Writer Frank Munger covers the Dept. of Energy's Oak Ridge facilities and many related topics — nuclear weapons, nuclear waste and other things nuclear, environmental cleanup and science of all sorts. Atomic City Underground is, first and foremost, a news blog, but there's room for analysis, opinion and random thoughts that have no place else to go.
