Tim Powers, director of Oak Ridge National Laboratory’s Research Reactors Division, will be the May 10 guest speaker at the Friends of ORNL luncheon.
His speech will be titled, “High Flux Isotope Reactor: Celebrating History and Moving Forward.” The meeting is open to the public.
The meeting will be held at the UT Resource Center, 1201 Oak Ridge Turnpike.
FORNL’s monthly gig begins at 11 a.m. with coffee and socializing, followed by lunch (available from Soup Kitchen at $8 per) and the talk at noon.
