The Department of Energy will make a presentation on waste management — the types of wastes, their hazards and where they’ll be sent for disposal — at the Jan. 13 meeting of the agency’s citizens advisory board in Oak Ridge. The meeting of the Oak Ridge Site Specific Advisory Board is open to the public. It will begin at 6 p.m. at the DOE Information Center, 1 Science.gov Way, in Oak Ridge.
