DOE announces small-biz contract awards

The Department of Energy today announced a couple of small-business contract awards out of the agency’s Cincinnati office.

The awards included a task order to Sage Energy Trading, a woman-owned small business based in Jenks, Okla., which has a max value of $3.5 million over two years. The work will be performed at the Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant in Piketon, Ohio.

The other award was a task order to Industrial Economics, located in Cambridge, Mass. It has a max value of $1.77 million over three years. The work will be performed at Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico.
