Livermore pays $37.25M to settle age lawsuit

Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory has paid $37.25 million to settle a lawsuit by 129 former employees who claimed they were laid off because of their age. The age discrimination lawsuit was filed in 2008, following layoffs a year earlier, according to the report by Sam Richards of the Contra Costa Times.
