Boston rad

A helicopter will be flying over Boston Harbor this weekend to make measurements of the natural background radiation in the area. According to the National Nuclear Security Administration, which announced the plans today, the rad assessment will cover 13 square miles. The info gathered will be used to establish baseline levels of radiation in the area for comparison purposes, etc., in case of a radiological event.
