K-31 looks ready to come down


As you can see in this photo take earlier this week by Department of Energy photographer Lynn Freeny, the K-31 building has been stripped of its siding and is ready to be torn down. The actual demolition of the former uranium-enrichment facility is expected to begin within the next couple of weeks. Based on the skeleton that remains, it shouldn’t take long.
