SafetyFest, the biggest safety event of the year, will be held Sept. 8-12, with most of the stuff — including dozens of training classes — to be held at Y-12’s New Hope Center.
The event is sponsored by the Oak Ridge Business Safety Partnership.
Here’s what Jenny Freeman, chair of the planning committee, said in announcing this year’s edition: “Safety Fest TN is popping at the seams with classes, events, seminars, a Safety Expo, and even a community brunch. We’ve got something for everyone.”
Bruce Wilkinson, a leadership and motivational speaker, will be featured at the community Safety Forum.
There also will be a seminar on communicating safety more effectively.
