DOE names Spears to leadership post at Savannah River

The Department of Energy announced that Terrel “Terry” Spears has been named deputy manager of the Savannah River Site. Spears has been in the acting position for about six months.

According to info released by DOE, Spears has held a number of senior-level positions, including director of the Salt Waste Processing Division. He holds engineering degrees from the University of Florida and the University of South Carolina.
