TVA’s Anda Ray joins EPRI

andarayAnda A. Ray, TVA’s senior VP for engineering, environment and support services, has joined the Electric Power Research Institute as vice president for environment and chief sustainability officer.

The appointment is effective Sept. 9.

“In her new role, Ray will lead EPRI’s research sector that addresses environmental and health impacts from the generation, delivery and use of electricity, answering the fundamental scientific questions about impacts on air, land and water,” the institute said in its announcement. “The sector also conducts technology research projects to reduce the cost and improve the economic and environmental performance of renewable energy resources.”
