In response to questions, the Uranium Processing Facility project team today released some additional information on leased space for the growing team, which now has about 770 employees. The team is consolidating activities at three leased sites in Oak Ridge/Knoxville, as well as personnel working at the project site at the Y-12 nuclear weapons plant.

The annual cost for the three leased sites is slightly more than $2.2 million, according to the stats provided by B&W Y-12, the government’s managing contractor at Y-12.Here are details of the three leased sites:

— 1099 Commerce Park (65,000 square feet); annual cost $1,023,310.14 ($15.74 per square foot).

— 2410 Cherahala (32,058 square feet); annual cost $478,305.36 ($14.92 per square foot).

— 90 Union Valley Rd. (48,730 square feet); annual cost $767,497.50 ($15.75 per square foot).
